James Curtis began performing in 2011, and practices an unusual mix of high brow and low brow humor, simultaneously, with a rapid fire delivery and some of the sharpest one-liners in the business. Notable for his prolific output, he has written over 7,000 jokes and has headlined throughout the mid-west. His act has been described as "edgy," "life changing" and "a mirror into the collective unconscious."

James headlined The Outsiders Comedy Tour in 2015 and 2016, has twice performed at the Blue Whale Comedy Festival and opened for national touring headliners Mary Lynn Rajskub and Brian Posehn.

In addition to performing stand up comedy throughout the midwest,

James Curtis is also the singer, guitarist and creative force behind "intentionally funny prog rock band" The Fulton Ansley Project.
